Leisure Destination Development Consultancy

Hans Christian Andersen Arena, Copenhagen

Client: Private Developer

HLL Humberts Leisure are joint agents on this 77.5 hectare development on the western outskirts of Copenhagen in Denmark. Planning consent was granted in May 2001 for the creation of a retail and leisure destination in excess of 100,000sq.m. The project will be centred around a multi-purpose fully covered arena. The shopping facilities will be in the form of a designer outlet centre (factory outlet centre) and there will also be a major indoor snow house. Our involvement with this scheme has now opened up the opportunity to work on three further factory outlet centres in Belgium, France and Italy, all of which are likely to form part of leisure and retail attractions.
