Golf Course Appraisal and Marketing
Hainault Forest Golf Course, Ilford
Client: London Borough of Redbridge
Hainault Forest is a 36 hole municipal pay and play golf course, established in 1912. The facilities, which were being operated under contract, had fallen below the standards required by the modern day golfer and required redevelopment, including the provision of a new clubhouse and driving range. Humberts Leisure advised the Council on the alternative methods of management available. A 25 year lease over the property was subsequently marketed at an annual rent. The site was let to Essex Golf Centres and has now been redeveloped.
