HLL Humberts Leisure's Planning team are experts in dealing with tourism and leisure planning issues. The team has a wide range of public and private sector experience including:

• pre-application work including site search and assessment, planning history checks and advise whether planning permission is required, preparation of Certificates of Lawfulness, and advise on whether planning permission might be forthcoming through policy checks, pre-application letters and meetings.
• planning applications including the submission of planning applications, preparation supporting statements, landscape plans and layout drawings, arranging section 106 legal agreements and dealing with caravan site licensing.
• planning policy appraisal and submission of local plan and development framework representations, advise on new LDF planning policy and site allocations, representations on national planning policy statements and regional spatial strategies.
• planning appeals, inquiries and expert witness including appeals by written representations, informal hearings or formal planning inquiries, including the appointment of barristers, preparation of proof of evidence and provision of expert witness.
