Forest Holiday Cabins, Sherwood Forest
Tourist accommodation planning permission secured for 60 forest holiday cabins in woodland following submission of comprehensive application with Landscape and Visual Impact Assessment, Ecology Report and independent Market Assessment of the tourism need and economic impact of the proposed development.
Avon Forest Spa and Lodges, South Hants
Tourism planning permission for seven holiday lodges in lieu of touring caravan pitches on a Green Belt site, on the edge of the New Forest National Park. Members of Planning Committee voted unanimously in favour of this high-quality lodge development, which benefitted from excellent screening in a woodland setting.
Wylands International Angling Centre, South Downs
Planning application and appeal Inquiry expert witness to secure outline planning permission for central café and facilities building, 15 fishermen's cabins, new manager's dwelling and workshop at 460 peg competition and leisure angling centre in the Sussex countryside and Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Submission of reserved matters application.
Oakdown Holiday Park, Sidmouth, Devon AONB
Retrospective planning permission for development to serve a 50-pitch touring field at an established, award winning holiday park situated in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The development included a shower and toilet block, fire points, gravel access road, electric hook up points and a children's play area.
Blackmore Vale Caravan Park, Dorset AHLV
Re-submission of tourist accommodation planning application for ten holiday lodges and ten all-weather touring pitches on touring park in the open countryside and in an Area of High Landscape Value.
Gamekeeper Inn, North Yorks National Park
Hotel and restaurant planning consent secured to form twelve hotel letting rooms and conservatory extension to restaurant area at public house within North Yorkshire National Park. The application was accompanied by a tourism need and viability report and a full planning statement highlighting the planning policy in support of rural business extensions in the national park.
Merley Court Touring Park, Poole, Dorset
Tourism planning permission secured for twelve holiday lodges to replace touring pitches, on a large touring holiday park adjacent to a listed historic house and in the Green Belt.
Hassocks, South Downs AONB
Tourist accommodation planning application for 25 holiday lodges, reception and meeting space on land designated for recreation within the South Downs National Park. Supported by a Visual Impact Assessment, Transport Statement, Tourism Need Assessment and overall Vision Statement.
