Fylde Coast
GVA Humberts Leisure was appointed to undertake a detailed visitor accommodation study across the Fylde Coast sub-region, centred on Blackpool, in order to inform the emerging LDF and Core Strategies. The assessment included an appraisal of all forms of visitor accommodation, as well as future requirements in the context of a number of different scenarios to inform future LDF policy.
South Worcestershire
GVA Humberts Leisure's hotel consultants undertook a detailed hotel market study covering the South Worcestershire area assessing existing hotel provision, future demand for such accommodation and the potential for hotel sector investment across South Worcestershire including an analysis of specific sites to inform the emerging Core Strategy.
Colchester
GVA Humberts Leisure's hotel consultants undertook a detailed hotel market demand study to inform the LDF and assess future hotel development opportunities. Together with our town planners the team advised upon the most appropriate sites for new hotel investment, with regard to market and planning considerations, and on marketing the town and its sites to secure that investment.
North East Lincolnshire
GVA Humberts Leisure carried out a hotel market capacity study to identify possible gaps in the market and to inform potential investors of hotel development opportunities within North East Lincolnshire. Our market study included a sequential site assessment to inform future planning policy in the emerging LDF process.
Restormel, Cornwall
GVA Humberts Leisure was commissioned to undertake a study of the Newquay hotel market to identify whether there was a surplus or undersupply of hotel accommodation and to advise on appropriate planning policy for inclusion in the new LDF.
East Cambridgeshire
GVA Humberts Leisure undertook a detailed assessment of the current and future serviced and non-serviced accommodation requirements for East Cambridgeshire, to assist the Council in the formulation of current and future planning policy and the need to support the local visitor economy.
