Tourism revenue in Britain is tipped to soar by more than half over the next decade.  According to a recent World Travel and Tourism Council projection, it will go up from an estimated ₤200 billion this year to ₤330 billion in 2018.  By then, Britain will be fifth highest, behind the US, China, Japan and Germany.
