Edinburgh-based FM Developments could begin construction on its ₤40m Ury Estate project in Stonehaven this summer, if Aberdeenshire’s infrastructure services committee gives its approval on 19 June. Aberdeenshire councillors have already approved plans for the project, which will include Scotland’s only Jack Nicklaus Signature golf course, a luxury resort hotel and 230 homes. FM Developments will build, own and operate the project, and plans to fund the development through the building of the 230 homes. The 18 hole golf course will be designed by Jack Nicklaus, and span 160 acres.
