Plans to transform a 3-acre site opposite the Westfield shopping centre in Derby are being drawn up by local private developer Norseman Investments.  Plans are to be submitted for a £150m central business district gateway to the city’s Castleward area in September.  The 400,000 sq ft scheme, which will be built on the site of the Speeds motor dealership, will comprise six buildings centred on a public piazza.  It is being targeted at national government departments and private corporate occupiers.
