World’s biggest building planned for Moscow

The world’s biggest building is to be built in Moscow, Russia, and will boast 3,000 hotel rooms, cinemas, a theatre and a sports complex as well as a 900 apartments and an international school. The 27 million sq ft (2.5 million sq m) tepee-shaped building – designed by Foster + Partners – will be 1,480ft high and cost US$4bn (£2.06bn, 2.73bn euro). The building, located 4.5 miles from the Kremlin, will be named Crystal Island.
