A Redcar resident has lost a Court of Appeal fight to stop the controversial Coatham Links housing and leisure development after judges backed the local authority.  Kevin Lewis, whose family home backs onto the common, failed to persuade the court to overturn Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council’s refusal to register the site as a town green.
