Great Yarmouth shares sea change grant

Four resorts are to share £12 million of regeneration funding in the second wave of the government’s Sea Change programme, led by CABE, Southport will receive £4 million to link a grade II listed arts centre, library and art gallery in the town centre. Awards of £3 million go to Great Yarmouth to develop the grade I listed St Georges Chapel into an arts centre and to Bridlington to revamp a section of promenade. Hastings will get £2 million for a piazza, cultural centre and performance space. Blackpool, Dover and Torbay received grants last year.
