Bookings for 2009 are up by 40 per cent on last year, according to the Caravan Club.  In just five days in December, more than 50,000 bookings were made by Caravan Club members.  2008 was a record year for UK caravan site bookings and nearly 55,000 households joined the club – 1,311 families joined in December alone.  National and regional newspapers alike covered the story
