Sussex ice rink in Brighton to make way for six-storey building

A six-storey hotel is planned for the site of a disused ice-rink. Brighton and Hove City Council is expected to confirm a deal with an as-yet unnamed developer for the Sussex Ice Rink, Queens Square, Brighton, and neighbouring offices. The proposal includes an 85-room “high quality” hotel and restaurant and a new pedestrian and bike passage connecting the current cul-de-sac with neighbouring St Nicholas churchyard.
