A £12m leisure centre scheme in the Derbyshire Dales is still on course to open in 2011, despite local fears that falling land values would scupper the project.  The leisure centre, to be built on The Dimple in Matlock, will boast a main sports hall for badminton, hockey, volleyball, five-a-side football, netball, gymnastics and cricket nets; a secondary sports hall for aerobics, dance, martial arts, table tennis and yoga; a fitness suite and an eight-lane, 25m swimming pool.
