The property is situated on the edge of Gloucester (population 109,888) and enjoys an ideal commercial trading location with easy access to Bristol and Birmingham via the M5 Motorway.
Gloucester Ski & Snowboard Centre, established in 1973, is set in c. 5 hectares (12 acres) and comprises:
- 220 metre main slope with fun park
- 150 metre trainer slope
- two nursery slopes
- 4 ski lifts
- 691 sq metre (7,400sq ft) ski lodge with café bar, ski hire and meeting room.
The Centre currently forms part of the Ramada Gloucester Hotel & Country Club and is being sold alongside the Gloucester Golf Club.
The ski business has a consistent, profitable trading record that generates an average (3 year) EBITDA of £225,000. Turnover is comprised of approximately 37% membership fee and recreational ski income; 47% ski/board lesson income; 15% food and beverage income and 1% miscellaneous income. Yet the business still offers potential for further growth.
