Research/Planning Assistant - Planning & Consulting Team

We are looking for a highly motivated student to join our team in the Brighton office. The team specialises in planning and consulting services for both public and private sector clients, covering all aspects of tourism and leisure property (including business plans, viability studies, planning applications and appeals).  This position offers the opportunity to gain valuable experience of working in a planning and consulting environment as part of a sandwich year, or for graduates looking to gain APC experience.  Due to the current economic climate, we are unable to offer a paid position at this time, but will cover reasonable travel expenses. 

The successful candidate will have completed 2 – 4 years of an appropriate property or business-based degree.

Chartered Surveyor - Hotels Team

We are looking for a highly regarded hotel professional to join our expanding team in the London office. The Team specializes at either end of the spectrum of the hotel market, from country house hotels and boutique town/city centre properties to limited service hotels. Working closely with the General Leisure Team, this position will offer variety and responsibility for acquisitions and disposal instructions with the focus on trading hotels, development and investment, together with a requirement to undertake formal valuations.

The successful candidate will have at least 5 years MRICS post qualification experience in the hotel and leisure sector. 

 

Chartered Surveyor – General Leisure

An experienced and qualified surveyor is required to provide assistance to this extremely busy team. The role requires a committed individual to carry out and be solely responsible for valuations and agency instructions in a variety of leisure businesses including sports and health and fitness, cinemas, nightclubs and other areas of urban leisure.

The successful candidate will have at least 2 years MRICS post qualification experience in a variety of leisure sectors and be able to work on their own initiative.
