Chartered Surveyor - Hotels Team

We are looking for a highly regarded hotel professional to join our expanding team in the London office. The Team specializes at either end of the spectrum of the hotel market, from country house hotels and boutique town/city centre properties to limited service hotels. Working closely with the General Leisure Team, this position will offer variety and responsibility for acquisitions and disposal instructions with the focus on trading hotels, development and investment, together with a requirement to undertake formal valuations.

The successful candidate will have at least 5 years MRICS post qualification experience in the hotel and leisure sector. 

 

Chartered Surveyor – General Leisure

An experienced and qualified surveyor is required to provide assistance to this extremely busy team. The role requires a committed individual to carry out and be solely responsible for valuations and agency instructions in a variety of leisure businesses including sports and health and fitness, cinemas, nightclubs and other areas of urban leisure.

The successful candidate will have at least 2 years MRICS post qualification experience in a variety of leisure sectors and be able to work on their own initiative.

Senior Planner – Planning Team 

We require a self-motivated chartered planner with at least 5 years’ experience to advise clients on the likelihood and best strategy to achieve planning permission, to prepare and submit planning applications and LDF representations with supporting documents, and to deal with appeal work.

Candidates must have experience of dealing with either planning applications for a local authority, or, preparing and submitting applications from private practice.  Experience of both would be an advantage. Some experience of LDF planning policy work is not essential but could be also be useful. Detailed knowledge of the tourism and leisure sector can be provided and is not essential, but experience of dealing with countryside or urban fringe planning issues will be an advantage.

Most importantly, you should have the confidence to deal with clients face to face and the ability to build a portfolio of clients to achieve Associate status.

Salary negotiable according to ability and experience.

Associate Director / Director Designate – Licensed Property/Restaurants

We are looking for a dynamic Chartered Surveyor with at least 5 years post qualification experience in either the pub or restaurant sector to be based in our Mayfair office.

The candidate should have an established reputation within the pubs/restaurant sectors, and be well regarded and credible with a wide range of relevant business contacts.

We also require the candidate to have strong business development and presentation skills with a proven ability to win high level client pitches, experience of working with major operators in the sector and able to manage client relationships with aplomb. A commercial outlook with the vision to expand and grow the business.

The candidate must be personable, open, focused and ambitious, versatile and able to undertake professional and agency work although the main focus maybe professional work depending on the individual.

 

Newly Qualified Surveyor Licensed Property / Restaurants

A newly qualified Chartered Surveyor to join the licensed property team within an established and growing Company based in our Mayfair office. 

The candidate may have had experience in the pubs /restaurant sectors or may wish to develop their careers in the sector.  

The candidate will possess good presentation skills and be able to network with peers within client Companies. Good interpersonal skills are required as the sector is a “people business”. 

The work will be broad based and range from valuations and rent reviews as well as agency work. Support will be provided to newcomers to the sector.
